    General Terms

    By accessing and using Compass, you confirm that you agree to and are bound by the terms of service set out below. These terms apply to the entire website and any email or other communication between you and Compass.

    Under no circumstances shall the Compass team be liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages — including loss of data, missed opportunities or lost profit — arising from use of, or inability to use, the materials, digests or audio briefings on this Service, even if a representative has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

    License

    Compass grants you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to download, install and use the app strictly in accordance with this Agreement. These Terms form a contract between you and Compass ("we", "us", "our"), the provider of the Compass website and services (the "Compass Service").

    Definitions & Key Terms

    • Cookie: a small amount of data generated by a website and saved by your web browser.
    • Company: Horus Teknoloji ve Dijital Hizmetler Anonim Şirketi, Altıntepe Mh. İstasyon Yolu Sk. No:3/1 Maltepe — İstanbul.
    • Country: Turkey.
    • Device: any internet-connected device such as a phone, tablet or computer.
    • Service: the personalized career news, digest and audio briefing service provided by Compass.
    • You: a person or entity registered with Compass to use the Services.

    Restrictions

    You agree not to, and you will not permit others to:

    • License, sell, rent, lease, assign, distribute, transmit, host, outsource, disclose or otherwise commercially exploit the app, its digests, summaries or audio briefings, or make the platform available to any third party.
    • Republish, syndicate or redistribute Compass-generated content (including cards, summaries and audio briefings) outside of the personal, in-app experience.

    Prohibited Uses

    You agree not to, and will not permit anyone using your account or device to:

    • Use the Service in any manner not permitted by these Terms.
    • Use the Service for any purposes prohibited by applicable laws or regulations.
    • Submit, upload, publish, post or transmit any unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, harmful, defamatory, abusive, offensive, threatening, hateful or discriminatory content.
    • Copy or modify the Service.
    • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of our services.
    • Use any data-mining, scraping or similar automated data-extraction methods to harvest content or personalization signals from Compass.

    Third-Party Content

    Compass curates and links to news articles, reports, threads, podcasts and other content produced by third parties. We do not own, endorse or guarantee the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of that third-party content, and we are not responsible for the actions of the publishers or platforms that host it. Reliance on any information surfaced through Compass is at your own risk.

    No Professional Advice

    Compass provides career-adjacent information and educational summaries. It does not provide legal, financial, medical, investment or other professional advice. You should not rely on the Service as a substitute for advice from a qualified professional in your field.

    Our Intellectual Property Rights

    We and our licensors retain and exclusively own all rights, title and interest in and to the Service and its content, including all intellectual property rights in Compass-generated summaries, cards, audio briefings, interface and branding, whether registered or not.

    User-Generated Content

    The Service may let you save notes, create custom feeds, follow sources or share cards. We do not claim ownership of User-Generated Content, but you grant us a license to store and display it as needed to operate the Service.

    Your Suggestions

    Any feedback, comments, ideas, improvements or suggestions you provide regarding the app shall remain the sole and exclusive property of Compass.

    Your Consent

    By using our app, registering an account, or making a purchase, you consent to these Terms & Conditions.

    Cookies

    Compass uses cookies to identify the areas of our website that you have visited and to enhance the performance and functionality of our app. Most browsers allow cookies to be disabled.

    Changes to Our Terms

    You acknowledge that Compass may stop providing the Service at its sole discretion, without prior notice. If we decide to change our Terms & Conditions, we will post those changes on this page.

    Modifications to Our App

    Compass reserves the right to modify, suspend or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the app, its digests, audio briefings or any service to which it connects, with or without notice and without liability to you.

    Term & Termination

    This Agreement remains in effect until terminated by you or Compass. Compass may, at any time and for any or no reason, suspend or terminate this Agreement with or without prior notice.
